Mr Griffiths and Mrs Fox are the class teachers and they are supported by Mrs Geddes as the class assistant.
What do we do in our class?
In class we have Termly Topics. This term our topic is called Dynamic Dynasties, which looks at the Shang Dynasty from Ancient China. They will be exploring the lasting legacy of one of the five major Chinese dynasties.
In English this half-term we will be looking at writing mythical stories and kenning poems. In maths we will be focusing on fractions, long multiplication and long division.
Our Science topic is all about Earth and Space. We will be looking at The Solar System, the planets and how they move in relation to the Sun.
In RE, we will be looking at what Christian people believe about Incarnation and how Jesus was seen as the Messiah.
In Music, we will be working towards our Christmas Carol Service. We also have our 'Song of the Week' which introduces different artists and styles from the past.
ICT this half-term will be focusing on website design and our French topic is called 'Au Salon du The' where the children will learn how to place an order in a french cafe. .
Our Art topic is based on Taotie motifs and looking at their significance.
All in all, it's going to be another busy term!
