Our Class Book - The Wild Robot
Date: 27th Nov 2024 @ 9:20am
Through our first half-term we thoroughly enjoyed reading The Wild Robot by Peter Brown as a class. This story follows Roz, the robot, who washes up on a distant, Wild Island. Roz learns to adapt to her new environment and learns all about connection and compassion through her new animal friends. She even adopts a son - a curious young goose named Brightbill!
Here is an excellent piece of home learning by one of our pupils - a fantastic wooden model of Roz and Brightbill.
We were so excited about this series that we have already started reading The Wild Robot Escapes. This time, Roz has been taken to a farm, where she must hide her human-like personality. We can't wait to learn how she deals with this new challenge!
